    • The needs of today’s growth companies

Customer behaviour has changed. Nearly every buying decision is now based on prior online research. Young, innovative and growing companies are not used to shop their commercial space in traditional ways anymore.

      - What does this mean for the real estate industry?
      - What do tenants expect from 2.0 workspace services?
      - How can the property owners respond to these needs?

Fascinating workshop by Hannu Käki & Tuomas Ryhänen, Kerros Solutions.
Two highly qualified debutees will be announced.

      • WorkSprawl. Increase the value of the buildings and areas in the urban sprawl with the new ways of working

Abandoned buildings in cities, suburban areas, locations with no identity and no urban character can be made “center city” through a new ways of working model based approach. The dynamics, started by the new ways of working, increase the market value and quality of spaces and buildings of the nomanlands. They are the laboratories of innovation, the garage of the start-ups, the offices of the companies involved in the production of ideas more than in the number of hours that employees spend in the office.

The main topics of our panel are answers to the following questions:

        - How to…

        • Work as a consumption experience - it's possible!

Want to attract and retain talent from the global pool of rockstars? Then your leaders will need to learn valuable skills to manage a highly demanding (Millenials) workforce, that wants flexibility. Flexible working hours, to work from anywhere and perks and benefits.

Can your managers cope with a partially remote workforce? Smart machines will take over the easy, repetitive tasks in virtually any job, so offering a great work experience will make or break your business.

          • Fundamental Human needs and the Workplace

We explore our fundamental human needs – purpose, belonging, achievement, autonomy, status, and security – and ask ourselves how are these defined?
            What is their priority?
What are their implications for management methods, technology and tools, and work places?

            • Future Offices Will Include Many Successful Models

Future Offices Will Include Many Successful Models

There is a need for older established companies to retain employees so we see lots of amenities and reasons to come into work but often a hot desk combined with private spaces and lots of conference rooms.
start ups want cheap space and so utilization must be high and staff can work anywhere.
We will see a combination of all models but the key is that we need to learn how to better measure productivity and that is the holly grail of the office market.

I've written some on this but would like…

              • The Living Office - The New Landscape of Work

In businesses around the world the workforce is changing. The expectations of workers are changing. How work gets done is changing. The tools of work are changing. The work itself is changing. There is a new landscape of work.
At Herman Miller, we enjoy working with leading thinkers and designers like you to apply a greater understanding of people—how we think, how we are motivated, and how we create and collaborate — to this new landscape of work.
In this seminar we will share our approach to how to manage our work, the tools and technologies that enable us, and…
